CRESSON, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Senator John Wozniak confirmed late Tuesday afternoon that two state prison's will close, SCI Cresson and Greensburg.

Wozniak said he received an e-mail from Governor Tom Corbett's office earlier in the day about the announcement which will formerly be made Wednesday in Harrisburg.

Wozniak says most prisoners from Cresson and Greensburg will be moved to SCI Benner. "My main focus is the employees," said Wozniak.  "I'm very worried about this."

Wozniak said he was told the closure is because of "building deficiencies."

Cresson had it coming. Union extra greedy, and recent Accreditation inspection failure helped cement the closing. Hooray taxpayers

I don't like what Corbett is doing. He's making the economy in Pa worse. Greedy politions.
