Two college students who lived on the other side of the duplex escaped the house and weren't injured.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for unknown reasons, but is expected to be okay.
It broke out around 6:15 a.m. at 111 and 113 S. 2nd Street.
The owner of the property, Chirs Yingling, appeared after the fire had been put out and was seen talking to fire investigators.
He told WTAJ he has owned the property for ten years.
The cause has not yet been determined.
