Man Went to Meet Young Girl, But Found Police Waiting

WHITE TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY - Police say a local man was trying to meet an underage girl for sex, but found police instead.

Police say Woodrow Hicks was texting a 15 year old girl to meet him at the Wal-Mart parking lot in White Township, Indiana County for sex. When the 43 year old showed up and saw police he tried to run away.

He's now charged with Attempted Statutory Sexual Assault, Corruption of a Minor, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Resisting Arrest, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officers, Aggravated and Simple Assault.
