Altoona Regional Does Pink Glove Dance

Some local healthcare workers are fighting cancer in a unique way.
At Altoona Regional Health System, employees put on their pink gloves and started to dance.
They're competing in a national dance-video competition among hospitals during breast cancer awareness month.
In the video, black balloons represent cancer and pink balloons good health after cancer. As the video progresses, black balloons are being pushed and swept away to symbolize that the patient's cancer is diminishing and that she is winning her battle against breast cancer. The pink balloons seen throughout the video symbolize hope for a cure of breast cancer.
The winners of the Pink Glove Dance contest get to designate a favorite cancer charity to win up to $10,000. Altoona Regional employees plan to send any winnings to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
