Rural Residents More Obese

The study from the National Center for Health Statistics says people who live in rural areas tend to eat a high-fat diet, and exercise less than people in urban areas.
One of the lead researchers says the culture is different in rural America. The diet is full of rich, homemade foods like omeat and desserts. And rural areas typically don't have a culture of physical activity as leisure time.
