Bedford and Chestnut Ridge cheerleaders cheered on over 700 folks at the recent Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Bedford.
They, along with other fit kids, gave up their morning to walk for a cause.
You see this happening in many communities.
Bedford's captain Olivia says, "We just think it's a great cause. There's people battling cancer everywhere, so we just think it's a good cause to help support."
Ivy and little sister Violet from Hollidaysburg were walking in support of their aunt - a breast cancer survivor.
And Jadon - from Johnstown walked with his family in memory of his grandmother who lost her battle with this deadly disease.
Olivia adds, "I feel that in supporting breast cancer awareness we can really get other people to notice that it's a big deal to really be paid more attention to."
This cheerleading squad presented a check for money raised at a recent home football game.
Young people making a difference and setting an example and making strides against breast cancer.
