Several Make-a-Wish kids and their families got a chance to hang with Curve players recently and both helped get and stay fit.
It was the Annual Bowling Fun Night Out at Holiday Bowl in Altoona, Blair County.
The kids had a great time getting autographs and bowling a few frames with the Hometown team.
And for the Curve players, it was a way to give back and show these kids what good sports they really are.
Curve Pitcher Matt McSwain says, "It's just a great opportunity for the kids to be out here and just to give back to the community . You know we're blessed with what we get the opportunity to do and so to be able to come out here and spend some time with the kids and families and thing it's just a great opportunity."
Make A Wish Mom Kerrie McDermitt added, "For many years all Ryder wanted to do was be a baseball player and being here with the Curve is just an awesome thing."
