They're called the Altoona Tracker Mite team, but they call themselves mighty!
Tracher David Zoerner says,"It's fun and it's a good sport and I like it."
His teammate Cameron Telarico agrees. "We play fun games and other stuff to help our whole team get better."
The coach of this traveling ice hockey team of 6 to 8 year olds says this is the type of sport can make a kid get physically fit fast!
According to Coach Ritchey, "It's a sport where you're constantly moving you're constantly thinking, you're developing your hand-eye coordination skills - but most of all it's really great exercise."
Cooper Rother explains ice hockey is a great form of exercise, "because you sweat a lot and you skate around and it gets you tired."
Coach Ritchey and his players agree it is a great for exercise.
And these Mites are not only exercising they're winning games and staying active!
