First Lady Michelle Obama certainly practices what she preaches, running drills with young soccer players at the white house last Thursday. The First Lady hosted the soccer event on the South Lawn as part of her "Let's Move!" initiative to promote physical activity and healthy eating.
Members of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team joined Mrs. Obama stressing the importance of keeping active.
Whether its with an organized soccer team or just running around having fun outside.
After running drills with kids from Soccer Sisters United, the First Lady delighted the crowd by bringing out their dog Bo.
As the First Lady says, "You don't have to become a superstar athlete to enjoy sports and to move. But getting involved in something fun like this can help you in so many different ways. It's not just about how you feel. But being physically fit helps you in school. It helps you focus. It helps keep your mind concentrating on what you need to do."
