Free WTAJ Shred Event in Bedford

On Wednesday, August 29th, Burgmeier's is hosting a WTAJ free shredding event.  You can safely hand over up to 40 pounds of material and get it shredded - for free!  On today's show Andy and Dalton from Burgmeier's joined Dawn to talk about the upcoming event and give details on what can be shredded and what cannot.

 

They said all sensitive documents that contain personal information can be dropped off. They can be stapled or paper clipped. But, large plastic clips and three ring binders cannot be shredded.

Burgmeier's has opened a new office in Bedford, along Route 30 up from the Jean Bonnet Tavern.
The office is open Monday through Friday 8am -4pm and is also a dropoff recycling center for:

- E-Waste
- Co-mingled papers and Newspaper / Magazines
- Tires
- Cardboard
- Oil

If you can't make it to Bedford - Burgmeier's offers residential and commercial document shredding and accepts materials to be shredded at 1340 Old 6th Ave RD, Altoona PA 16601 from 8 to 4 Monday through Friday. Call Andy to make an appointment at 800-491-8975 ext 2311.
