The flurries will taper off Monday as an area of high pressure moves in, but communities could see a dusting of snow. A small area of high pressure will move over the region Monday, bringing sunshine for the afternoon, but clouds may hang tough north of I-80. Temperatures will be below seasonal average and winds will pick up in the afternoon with the strongest gusts along ridgetops.

The high pressure will not stick around though. A disturbance will move past us to the south Tuesday bringing a chance of snow showers for Tuesday evening and Wednesday.

Any leftover snow showers will be on their way out by Thursday as warmer air starts moving in for the weekend, reaching close to 50 by the weekend.
