This is the signature winter event for ClearWater Conservancy in State College. Now in it's 14th year, the event circles around the sweet sounds of Jazz (provided by musical group Jazz-Ma-Phone), and delicious chocolate treats, all while support land and water conservation in Central Pennsylvania through art that's up for auction!
There will be live and silent auctions, as well as door prizes. The art will come in a variety of forms (oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, mixed media, photography, wood and clay sculpture and bowls, pottery, baskets, jewelry, quilting, felting and more!), but all of it will focus on nature.
Tickets are $30 a piece. All of the proceeds will benefit ClearWater Conservancy. Executive Director Jennifer Shuey says the funds will be used to "conserve land and water, restore streamside buffers and habitat, connect people to nature, and teach the next generation about the natural world."
"For the Love of Art and Chocolate" will be this Friday, February 15th from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College.
