A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect for the viewing area from until 9 a.m. Monday morning. (Jefferson County's advisory goes until 4 a.m.) Ice accumulations will be light if anything. The front bringing the precipitation looks like it's running out of energy, so I'm leaning toward rain showers and a little bit of ice.

Temperatures will warm into the 40s by the afternoon as winds begin to increase. Another piece of energy from this system will move in Monday night and it will be breezy in spots. Communities along and west of route 219 could see snow showers Monday night into Tuesday, and there is a chance of snow showers east of 219 during that time as well.

Sun and clouds will be around for Tuesday and Wednesday, but another disturbance will move past us to the south Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing a chance of rain or snow showers.

Thursday will have the sun and cloud mix, but clouds will win out Friday as a chance of snow returns for Friday and Saturday. That disturbance will bring cooler air to the region, and temperatures next weekend may not get above freezing.
