The State College Community Theatre and the State Theatre are teaming up to bring you a must-see holiday classic. Based on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", "Scrooge: The Musical" is a musical re-telling of the story of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who is forced to face his unpleasant past, present and future via three ghosts. As a result, Scrooge undergoes a major transformation, and his Christmas spirit is restored.
Show Director Richard Biever brought along three cast members, William Snyder III, who plays "Bob Cratchit", Ava Fritz, who plays "Kathy Cratchit" and Garrison Famiglio, who plays "Tiny Tim" to sing one of the numbers from the production.
If you're interested in seeing "Scrooge: The Musical", it will run December 14-16 at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Performances are at 7:30 p.m., except for Sunday, when the performance is at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $16 for seniors and students, and Biever says, they're going fast!
