CURWENSVILLE, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - Sixth grader Jeremy Irwin knew just who he wanted to invite to the Veteran's Day ceremony at his school in Curwensville.

He invited his great grandfather, grandpa, mom and dad. He says he is lucky to have them and wanted them to know people appreciate them.

His dad, John, a third grade teacher in Curwensville explained he felt proud that his son wanted the extended family there. He added that in a sense all veterans are family.

" It is sort of a brotherhood kind of thing. We all feel connected in one way or another. Whether you are related in one way or another you all feel connected" he said.

Veteran's Day is this Sunday November 11.
