Sarah wasn't sure what to expect when she visited the Silver Living Chiropractic and Wellness Spa in Bellefonte. Among the services offered are: Accupuncture, massage therapy, foot treatments, and nutritional counseling.
Before undergoing any treatment, you'll be asked to fill out a patient intake form, so the staff is aware of your health history, along with a consent form. Once cpmplete, a staff member will review the information and discuss different options and goals with you.
You can expect to have your first appointment last between 45 minutes and an hour. The first visit is $55 and every visit after is $29, but the good news is many insurance companies are starting to cover chiropractic care.
They recommend accute patients come in three times a week - with appointments once a month after that. And they say. just like a dentist or other health office, you shouldn't wait until there's a problem to come in.
