From Up Here is an uproarious and uplifting contemporary comedy about one family's struggle with accepting imperfection. The Barretts wish their family could make it through one day unnoticed, but that's going to be hard now that their son has to publicly apologize to his entire high school for publishing his enemies list. A contemporary new comedy about the highs and lows of family life, From Up Here is about a family limping out the door in the morning and coming home no matter what.
From Up Here is directed by Robert W. Schneider, who received his '09 M.F.A in Directing for the Musical Theatre. Robert has directed such off-Broadway shows as All Fall Down, Unsung, Dialing for Donna, and The Random Black Girl Cabaret; observed Tony Award-winner Judith Ivey on Vanities at the Second Stage Theatre; assisted Susan H. Schulman on two projects; directed workshops of new musicals at the Walnut Street Theatre, UCLA School of Theatre, and the USC School of Theatre; and directed such shows as All My Sons, The Good Doctor, Company, Babes in Arms, The Boys Next Door, City of Angels, Guys and Dolls, and Six Degrees of Separation throughout the country.
