Living With Diabetes

In the United States 25.8 million people have diabetes and it is not always the easiest diagnosis to deal with.
Sarah Swistak interviews Beth Van Horn, a PSU Extension Educator that teaches a class called "Dining with Diabetes". Topics include what the class is about, why it is so overwhelming to be diagnosed with diabetes, how big of a role diet plays in the life of a diabetic, planning healthy meals, physical activity and more. Sarah and Beth will also be doing food demonstrations and food tasting.
