The Huntingdon County Humane Society takes center stage for this week's edition of Tuesday's Tails.  Unfortunately, the weather prevented them from being here live, but they passed along all the information on this week's featured pets so we could still introduce them to you.

Starting with Eli!  Eli is a gorgeous cat.  His is about nine months old, and he is all ready to go to his new home.  He is neutered, current on all of his vaccinations, he's wormed and has a micro-chipped.  The folks at the shelter say he is very uniquely marked, and very docile.

Then there's Gracie.  Gracie is three years old, and as cute as a button.  She is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all vaccines.  She came in as a stray, so very little is known about this sweet girl, but shelter employees seem to think she's a jack Russel Mix.

If you are interested in adopting either Eli or Gracie, or checking out any of the other animals HCHS has on hand, you can head down to their shelter every day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  They are located at 11371 School House Hollow Road in Huntingdon.  You can also reach them by phone (814) 643-7387, or e-mail: hchspets@verizon.net.  Please note, they are closed on Sundays, holidays or during inclement weather.

This Saturday would be a great day to head down to Huntingdon, because the Humane Society will be hosting a Rabies Vaccination and Micro-Chip Clinic.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2nd at the Tractor Supply in Huntingdon.  It will cost $12 for a Rabies Shot, and $25 to have your animal micro-chipped.  All proceeds benefit the Huntingdon County Humane Society.  All animals must be in a carrier or on a leash, and if you have a female animal, she cannot be in heat.
