Emergency Responders Media Course

EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Emergency responders learned how to handle the media today. 

In a two day crash course sponsored by PEMA, emergency responders were learning how to designate a public information officer

Especially in events like fires, crashes, shootings or major disasters. 

It was put on by county emergency management coordinators from the Pittsburgh area. 

They focused on establishing a relationship with reporters and how to talk on camera and relay important information. 

County EMA municipal staff, fire and police officials all attended the class.
