There will be areas of dense fog early Wednesday morning then there may be some sunshine before rain will arrive during the afternoon. Some of the rainfall could be heavy during the afternoon and evening and a few rumbles of thunder can not be ruled out. Behind the front, we'll have an abrupt change back to colder air for the end of the week. Thursday will be windy and much colder, than Wednesday, in fact, some spots will be 30 degrees colder. There will be flurries and snow showers scattered about the region Thursday. Friday will be blustery and cold with variable cloudiness and scattered flurries or snow showers. Saturday will still be cold despite some sunshine. Another disturbance will bring a period of light snow or snow showers later Saturday into Saturday night. Leftover flurries or snow showers will still be around early Sunday; otherwise, it will be cloudy to partly sunny. Monday will feature some sunshine before the next disturbance brings snow showers Monday night into Tuesday.
