Thursday Midday, December 6th

It will be a nice afternoon, albeit cool. Highs will be in the upper 30s to low 40s. We will have sunshine and just a few thin clouds late.
High pressure moves out and clouds and moisture move toward us tonight. We will have thickening clouds. A few light showers or a bit of drizzle could sneak in by morning. With temperatures below freezing in many locations, any precipitation could freeze on contact. Be careful on the morning commute, because a surface that looks damp, could be ice.
The next several days will feature an unsettled pattern with some hit or miss showers around, with perhaps a steadier bout of rain, though timing is difficult in this sort of pattern.
Tomorrow we start the trend of cloudy days, with a couple of showers around or some drizzle. Saturday could be milder ahead of the next disturbance. Highs may top out near 50 or better. It will be rather cloudy with a shower or two.
A stronger front heads our way on Monday into Tuesday of next week. It will be breezy Monday with a period of rain and perhaps a thunderstorm later in the day or at night. Behind that next front a sharper shot of colder air is likely for the middle of next week.
