The Southside Strays are preparing for a launch party for their new album, "Out All Night," this Friday, January 13th. The
Rhythm guitarist Peterson started the band with lead guitarist and harmonica player Goldman in 2005 after deciding they wanted a more "jam-band" type sound than that of their previous band. They named the band the "Southside Strays" after booking their first gigs at Tulune's South Side Saloon in Moxham.
The Southside Strays are known for their seamless transitions between the songs in a set, taking the audience from song to song and never quite knowing where they will end up.
"Out All Night" features nine tracks of original music by Peterson and Goldman along with band mates John Mundy on the drums and Scott Jeffreys on the bass. The launch party will take place at the Ethic Social Club at the Heritage Discovery center in
