College Opportunity Fair

Representatives from 80 schools and colleges will take part in the annual Post High School Opportunity Fair in the Altoona Area High School Field House, October 4-5.
Admissions requirements, financial aid and other pertinent information about four-year colleges and universities; trade, technical and career schools; business schools; nursing schools; junior and community colleges; and military academies will be shared with attendees.
The popular Parents Night will be held Tuesday, October 4, from 6-8 p.m. Parents and their sophomore, junior and senior students can take this opportunity to meet together with these college and career representatives. This event is open to parents and students from ALL local high schools.
On Wednesday, October 5, more than 2,000 students from Altoona Area and other local high schools will be scheduled to attend throughout the day from 9 a.m.-noon. Parents may also attend this session if they cannot attend on Tuesday evening.
This annual event is organized by Altoona High counselors as a way of providing accurate and up-to-date career information. Parents and students from all area high schools are invited to attend.
