Mom and Former WTAJ News Director Recall Dawn's Birth

Dawn's Mom, Elaine Pellas, joins her daughter live in studio to answer questions about how Dawn came to be born on television. Former WTAJ-TV News Director Eric Rabe also joins Dawn, in a phone interview, about his decision to do the story.  He explains why fathers were left out of the delivery process, prior to the early 1970's, how men felt about that and why the change in having dads involved was so important.  Eric also shares his reaction to having Dawn call him, out of the blue, to tell him that she was the baby who ironically grew up to become a television news anchor.
