It’s amazing how fast the season seems to go. We are heading to our last home game of the season this Saturday as the Hoosiers come to town for a noon kickoff. Last game the weather was quite agreeable for the time of the year; unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the result. This game won’t be bad for this time of the year either. Hopefully we can say the same about the final score.
The stubborn storm that has been lashing the Mid-Atlantic coastline will still be close enough that we will probably have some clouds and the chance for some drizzle or even a shower Saturday morning, perhaps even to kick off. But the chance for drizzle in November is a better thing than other alternatives. And I think the weather will improve and clouds may even break for some sunshine during the day. At least the chance will be there. It will be cool, but really not so cool for a mid-November game. The kickoff temperature will be in the upper 40s and we will probably have temperatures rise to near, if not into, the 50s during the game. There will be little if any wind which should help.
