After a cold start this morning, we were treated to a spectacular November afternoon with near total sunshine. Highs surged from the 20s this morning and reached the 50s and even into the 60s in some spots by the afternoon. As an area of high pressure has moved to the east, warmer air from the southwest will continue to stream into Pennsylvania. So, tonight will not be nearly as cold with lows into the 40s with a bit of a breeze from the southwest. Some of the deeper, outlying valleys east of Route 219 may touch the 30s as the wind stays lighter. Tomorrow will be another gem, with a mostly sunny sky and highs getting into the 60s regionwide. Our taste of Indian Summer will continue into the start of the work week on Monday, with more sunshine and highs getting into the 60s once again, with some spots even touching 70. A cold front will approach on Tuesday, which will begin to limit our sunshine and keep us closer to 60 rather than 70 for an afternoon high. There will be a few showers as that front passes through very late Tuesday. Those showers will last into early Wednesday, but there should be some clearing later in the day. It will be a bit cooler, with highs in the 50s. The cooler weather will not last, as another surge of milder air should get us back up to near 60 for the latter parts of the work week before some cooler air returns by next weekend.
