    C&C Smith Lumber Company has been producing quality wood products since 1962, when Cletus and Clement Smith founded a small lumber mill in southwestern Pennsylvania. Today, C&C Smith is a third-generation, family-operated company that has grown to encompass a variety of carefully crafted wood products.

    Environmental Sustainability
    C&C Smith Lumber is a no waste facility, using all the byproducts of the sawn log. Recently, C&C Smith Lumber has earned the Forest Stewardship Council certification to process FSC Certified Wood.  Clients are able to order FSC Certified Cabinetry made from trees that have been harvested in a responsible manner.

    What Type of Woods Do You Use?
    We use Cherry, Red Oak, Soft and Hard Maple, Hickory and Ash woods.

    Can You Match This Color?
    Yes, we are able to color match finishes from a sample.

    Do You Use Particle Board?
    No, we make an all wood cabinet. We use 3/4-inch solid wood for our sides, faces and doors, and 1/2-inch plywood is used on the backs and bottoms. Our dovetailed drawer boxes are built using 5/8-inch solid wood for the sides and 1/2-inch plywood is used in the fully encased bottom. The hardwood and plywood used in the box construction will match the species you select for the face.
