Household Hazardous Waste Collection

BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - Folks who have pool chemicals, weed killers, and household cleaners laying around their house will have a chance to properly dispose of those this weekend.
The Centre County Solid Waste Authority is sponsoring its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
Stuff like latex paint, used motor oil, medications and alkaline batteries will not be accepted.
The CCSWA is located on Transfer Road in Bellefonte.
