(Pittsburgh, PA) - The Steelers experienced defensive line took a big hit Wednesday when lineman Aaron Smith was placed on injured reserve with a torn rotator cuff. Smith injured the shoulder in Sunday's victory over Detroit but had been playing with pain for several weeks. Rookie Ra'Shon Harris was signed by the Steelers to add depth to the line. Smith will undergo surgery on the shoulder on Friday.
