Friday, Aug 28, 2009 @11:31pm EDT From Spikes reports: (State College, PA)—The State College Spikes rebounded from losing a two-run lead in the top of the eighth inning to score three in the bottom half and defeat the Williamsport Crosscutters, 5-2, in a SawBuck Series matchup at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Friday. Aaron Baker led the offensive attack for State College (34-33) with an RBI triple in the sixth inning and a sacrifice fly to break a 2-2 tie in the eighth inning. Baker’s triple was his sixth of the season, tying him with teammate Pat Irvine and two other players for the New York-Penn League lead.
