LANDOVER, MARYLAND --  Landover, Maryland-based Giant Food has issued a recall of its nine-point-six-ounce Giant brand nonfat dry milk product.

The item was removed from store shelves over salmonella concerns.  The recall is part of a national recall by the manufacturer Plainview Milk. 

Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to any Giant Food for a full refund.

So far, no illnesses have been reported.
