Steelers Kicker Reed Cited For Disorderly Conduct

(New Alexandria)  --  Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed has been cited with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after a weekend incident at a New Alexandria convenience store.

The incident began around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning where state police say Reed walked into the men's bathroom at Sheetz on U.S. Route 22 and apparently damaged an empty towel dispenser.

Police also say Reed cursed at a store employee and continued to yell after he left the store.

The 29-year-old was not arrested but has been issued a summary citation which will go before a district judge in Derry.

Neither the Steelers, nor Reed, would comment on the incident.
