Reported by: Patrick Schurr Monday, Nov 2, 2009 @08:31am EST The Nittany Lions moved up one spot to No. 11 in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll this week, following their 34-13 win at Northwestern Saturday.
Penn State also stepped up to No. 11 in the BCS standings. The team made no movement in the Harris Top 25 and USA Today Top 25. Ohio State crushed New Mexico State 45-0 Saturday. That bumped the Buckeyes up two spots to No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and one spot to No. 16 in the BCS. OSU comes to Happy Valley this weekend at 7-2 overall. The Nittany Lions are 8-1 overall. But both are 4-1 in the Big Ten, setting up a huge clash as they chase undefeated Iowa for the conference championship. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. this Saturday. |
