    JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY --- The annual Folkfest has been a staple of Labor Day weekend in Johnstown for nearly 20 years.  The national festival first came in 1990.

    Once the national tour finished it's three year stint, the event gained local sponsorship and fulfilled one of the goals of the original program.

    Dozens of bands and performers are on tap for 2008. 

    "We've got everything from blues all the way down through the alphabet to zidaco.  If you like music there's going to be something here for you.  We're really excited to be at this point," Organizer Shelley Johanssen said.

    And of course there is a lot to do in between performances.  Like years past, there will be plenty of food on hand throughout the weekend.
