ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY -- Police arrested two drug suspects and confiscated thousands of dollars worth of drugs in Altoona.
Police officers raided a home at 3018 Broad Avenue at about 6 p.m. Monday. When they got there, police say they found Daniel Deneen and Jessica Hewitt with three small children.
Police say Hewitt tried to flush their cocaine down the toilet, but they were able to recover about $4,700 worth of cocaine in baggies and about $4,500 worth of marijuana. Police say they also found a razor blade for cutting cocaine in reach of the children. The two face child endangerment charges in addition to the drug charges.
Both Deneen and Hewitt are in the Blair County Prison. The children are staying with relatives.
