The wide 3/8 mile clay surface provides some of the best racing in the country. With its three wide and even four wide racing, the Big Bear delivers several of the closest, most exciting finishes in all of racing. This seasons schedule consists of 5 full-size car events as well as 4 Go-kart races. The action kicks off Sunday, May 24th, with the $7000 to win $15 admission All-Star Late Model “GRIZZY 50”. The second event of the year is Sunday, June 14th when the 410 All-Star Sprint Cars come to town with a National Qualifier Race for the 305 PASS series. On Friday, July 3rd it’s time for the 34th Annual Yankee Doodle that has a $10,000 paycheck to the winner. On Sunday, August 9th NASCAR Veteran Ken Schrader and his USTMS Modified racing will be at the Big Bear. The full bodied schedule ends Sunday, September 6th with the Steel Block Nationals weekend. The event has payouts of $4009 to win and $400 to start the Late Model event and $3009 to win and $300 to start the Street Stock event. Central PA Speedway also is home of the always thrilling Street Stock Shootout.
