Reported by: Amy Mearkle Friday, Nov 6, 2009 @05:08am EST Students at St.
Matthew School participated in their No-Bullying Kick-off for the school year.
Students from Preschool through sixth grade were mixed up and placed in small
groups. The groups rotated through various stations set up outside and in the
school hall. Activities included playing teamwork games and making no-bullying
badges. The other activities were storytime, bracelet making, and a healthy
snack. At each station, older students helped younger students and everyone
made new friends. The students in the photo are displaying this year's theme:
"Lend a hand against bullying." Every child in the school placed their
handprint on the banner. |
