Today's school matters photo takes us to
St. Patrick's School in Newry - Blair County.
October is National Down
Syndrome Awareness Month. This photo was sent in by Mark Frew. His daughter
Becky is now in the 6th grade at St. Patrick's School. His daughter Becky who
has Down Syndrome was able to mentor her friend Christine in volleyball last
year. Christine is now a freshman at Bishop Guilfoyle.

Jackie say St. Patrick's has been great to work with. TOgether as parents they
worked with the school to design a curriculum that meets Becky's needs.
Highlighting October has National Down Syndrome Awareness Month and the great
