Reported by: Amy Mearkle Monday, Oct 12, 2009 @10:41am EDT Pleasant Gap, PA – The Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology accepted delivery of a late model International flatbed dump with crew cab. This is an automatic transmission CDL Class B (convertible to CDL Class A with the addition of a 10,001 pound trailer) vehicle. Dr. Gregory Michelone, CPI’s Executive Director said, “We are thrilled to add this truck to our fleet. It will be utilized as a test vehicle by our PENNDOT-approved CDL 3rd Party licensing program.” Michelone added, “The truck will also be used by CPI’s Commercial Driver Training Program, as well as the Diesel Repair Technology Program.” Funds for the purchase of this vehicle were obtained through a federal transportation training grant award.
