Reported by: Amy Mearkle Friday, Jul 24, 2009 @05:00am EDT Oreo Ice Cream CakeJuly 24, 2009 Guest Chef: 2009-10 Blair County Dairy Princess Kristy Bigelow Ingredients: 1 pkg of Oreos (crushed) 1/2 cup butter 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream 10-12 oz jar of hot fudge 1 small container of Cool Whip Directions: Crush the oreos. Melt butter and mix with crushed cookie pieces. Press the crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Add 1/2 gallon of ice cream. It should be soft enough to spread out over the cookie crust. Cover the ice cream with hot fudge sauce. Spread the cool whip layer on top of the the fudge. Sprinkle the top with some crushed Oreos. Place pan in the freezer to allow the ice cream to harden again. |
