  • Erie Mayor Elected to 2nd Term
Reported by: Kim Thomas @ yourerie.com

    Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @10:37pm EST

It looks like Democrat incumbent Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott will get another four years in office.

Sinnott beating out his Republican opponent Jack Anderson in the seat.

He says four more years gives him a chance to move forward with what he's started during his first term.

"We've still got a lot of work to do, we managed to stabilize the city and get some things started from an economic development standpoint that we hope to grow in the second term, so there's still things to be done and there's still a challenge and i think my team is up to it, so we're looking forward to it," said Sinnott.

This will be Sinnott's 2nd term as Erie City Mayor.
