Some people are still mad over the police board firing former Chief Bill Herkert. The board chairman said something will be done over this poem, but he wants to leave past decisions in the past. "Obviously it involves the same department, but it's not the same. We're talking about two different issues here,” John McCullough said. McCullough is the Chairman of the Mifflin County Regional Police Board. Pastor Carpenter said the worker who sent the email apologized to him personally. Other people in "We know what the charge is here. The punishment should suit the crime," Tunall said. The police board will discuss this mass email. They'll decide what to do at an executive session next week. Chairman McCullough said this poem disgusts him and it's unacceptable. |
