Jon Mclintock was part of the very first Action News Team at WTAJ in 1974.
He worked at WTAJ until 1979.
He worked as a field reporter, weekend anchor and even was an associate news director.

Jon is still reporting the news as a news producer and writer for Newsroom Solutions in Hollidaysburg.
Newsroom Solutions provides news wire and headline services to television stations all across the country including WTAJ.
He is responsible for the ticker going across the bottom of the screen with headlines in the morning.
Jon also follows stories on the internet and researchs facts on stories for news producers and writers.

One of Jon's most memorable stories was covering the 1977 Johnstown flood.

Jon says the reason he has stayed in Central PA is really simple.  He just loves the area.
"I fell in love with the mountains.  I wasn't working at WTAJ long before I was offered a job in Dallas.
I heard they only have three seasons there. And I always loved Pennsylvania.
I love the mountains compared to Philly and I vowed then never to leave."
