Reported by: Amy Mearkle Thursday, Nov 5, 2009 @08:36am EST YORK, PENNSYLVANIA - - Harley-Davidson officials say if production operations move from its York plant, hundreds of jobs will go to Shelbyville, Kentucky. Other locations include Kansas City, Missouri, Shelbyville, Indiana and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Company spokesman Bob Klein says the company could also choose to stay where it's at. Harley-Davidson currently employees 2,500 people at its York plant. Kentucky Economic Development Secretary Larry Hayes has not mentioned what incentives would come to the state if the company decides to relocate to Shelbyville.
