Reported by: Kevin Flanigan Thursday, Oct 29, 2009 @06:56pm EDT ALTOONA- BLAIR COUNTY - Thanksgiving is still four weeks away. But some national retailers are launching their holiday sales push this early. Sear's is going all out to draw in those holiday shoppers before the end of October. The national retailer will start offering what it calls "Black Friday Doorbuster" deals nearly a month before the traditional day after Thanksgiving sales. The extra sales push may be needed because 65% of Americans say they will cut back on their holidays spending this year.
That's according to a new consumer reports survey.
