Danielle Krout joined the WTAJ News Team as a general assignment reporter in October of 2008. Before arriving in Central Pennsylvania, she worked for WDTV, a CBS affiliate station in Bridgeport, West Virginia. There, she covered everything from breaking news to WVU pep rallies, to rapid floods streaming through the Mountain State.

Danielle began her broadcasting career at WJAC News in Johnstown. One of her most memorable experiences, while there, was an exclusive interview on the 5^th Anniversary of the Quecreek Mine accident with former Governor Mark S. Schweiker, and several of the trapped miners.

Before diving into news, Danielle graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor in Science. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.  Danielle loves to travel, read, workout and spend time with her family, fiancé Ryan and their Yorkshire Terrier, Charlie. The Bucks County native is glad to be back in the Keystone State and is thrilled to call Central PA home.
