ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - There is a major wind-fall for the Juniata Shops of Norfolk Southern. State officials have announced some federal funding is on the way. The Rendell Administration says that one and one half million dollars will be coming to the Norfolk Southern Shops in Blair County courtesy of the Federal Department of Environmental Protection. The federal stimulus grant will be used to renovate a couple of thirty five year old locomotives to make them more efficient and environmentally friendly. The new diesel engines should pay off for the environment with less emissions and better fuel efficiency.

A popular clothing store for people who like to dress in blue and white has moved to a new location in Centre County. The Old State Clothing Company has reopened at the corner of Beaver and Allen in Downtown State College. The store closed its East College Avenue location earlier this year. The people in charge of the retail store say it was important to get back in business and open their doors in time for this year's arts fest and the coming Penn State Football Season.
