Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
A Special Note from Amy Mearkle

Hello! Thanks for stopping by the
WTAJ News This Morning -
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk webpage. It is my honor to serve as an Honorary Chairperson for this spirited, noncompetitive walk that helps save lives.
If it hasn't already, breast cancer will touch you or someone you know. The disease will strike more than 200,000 times this year and will claim 40,000 lives in the United States. More than 11,000 of those women will be from Pennsylvania and 2,000 of them will loose their battle with this disease.
A Call for Help!We need your help in making a difference and building hope. What better way to honor the many lives touched by breast cancer than by helping to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's crucial programs.
It is really easy to help!! All you have to do is sign up to walk. A team can be two walkers. Call or email your friends, family members, church groups, community groups and before you know, you will have a team of people coming together to make a difference.
